Who is responsible
Schjønhaug AS, organisation number 914 469 678, Holmenkollveien 127Y, 0787 Oslo. Questions and access requests: andreas@schjonhaug.com.
What we store
- About you: your name and email from Sign in with Apple, and an Apple ID reference that lets you sign in again. If you use Apple’s “Hide My Email”, we only see the forwarding address.
- About your child: a nickname you choose, the birth year, a character, and which categories and levels are turned on. No full name, no date of birth, no photos.
- About the practice: which tasks were created, what your child answered, how many attempts, and how the level has changed. This is the service itself.
- Feedback you send us, and a log of when you accepted this policy, downloaded or deleted data.
We use no tracking, no third-party analytics and no ads. Your child has no account of their own.
Subscription
Leif & Gro is free until your child has planted their first flower. We work that out from the days of completed practice, which we already store.
The subscription is bought in the App Store, and Apple handles the payment. We never see your card. From Apple we receive a signed confirmation with the transaction number, which subscription the family has, when the period ends, and whether it has been renewed, cancelled or refunded. We need this to give the family access. The legal basis is our agreement with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Where it’s stored
On a server at Hetzner in Helsinki (EU/EEA). Nightly backups are stored encrypted in Norway. Apple handles sign-in under its own terms.
Why we’re allowed to do this
The legal basis is our agreement with you as a parent to provide the service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). You are in charge of your child’s information, and you can change or delete it at any time.
Your rights
Under Konto (Account) in the app you can download everything as JSON and delete everything at once, without asking anyone. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority. We delete inactive households after 24 months and archived children after 12 months.
Changes
We may change the service and this policy; if we do, we’ll let you know in the app and on the front page, and ask for new consent where needed.
